What our customers are saying

Simon and his son, Liam, were exceptional. I'd recommend them without any reservations. They are prompt, professional and take a real pride in their work. They were very easy and nice to communicate with. A couple of further things really stood out. The first is that I asked them to do a number of additional jobs as the works progressed. They were happy to adapt, and after the job said they didn't want any extra payment for the extra work. I, of course, paid them something! The second is they brought their own ideas which were useful and helped improve the finished look. Thanks for doing such a good job. We're very happy!

Customer Requested Description

'I am looking to redesign the front garden area of our terraced house. The area is 5.7m wide by 3m deep and currently covered by brick. We would like to install a victorian tiled path leading from the pavement to the front doorstep (3m long x 1m wide), and also put similar tiles on the front doorstep (c. 2.5m wide x 0.75m deep).

We would like to plant some Variegated Griselinia hedge along the front wall and the remainder of the area to be covered by small stone pebbles.'

Ideal Landscapes Process

Lift up all the old block paving and dispose off site

Dig out to the required depth and install a weed membrane.

Put a level screed base down for the mosaic victorian path and

install rope edgings down the edge of the path and new hedge area. Lay the Victorian tiles on the step and path and grout in the tiles. Spread the decorative stones over the areas as discussed

and lay some topsoil in the Variegated Griselinia hedge beds.

What our customers are saying

Simon and Liam are a great team. They have transformed our garden in three weeks of really tough graft. This included clearing, fencing, laying a fantastic indian sandstone patio, building/rebuilding steps, and laying a path. They have been great at giving advice and suggesting solutions to problems, and were really reliable. Thanks for a fantastic job!

What our customers are saying

Well I would just like to say a big thank you to Simon and David of Ideal Landscapes! They have just completed my new garden patio and rear path. What a difference it has made. I literally have a completely new garden, from steps to rear gate! They’re attention to detail and willingness to go the extra mile really impressed me. They helped me with design ideas when I was unsure and implemented them beautifully.

I’m more than happy with their work and my garden now looks better than I could of imagined it. I got a total of 7 quotes for this job and ideal landscapes were very competitive in this area both on materials and labour but more importantly the quality of their work was excellent.

I’ve already recommended them to a friend of mine and can’t wait to start enjoying the now lovely outside space they’ve created for me and my family. Thanks again guys.
